Currently the Foundation, Friends of Cornwall Library and the Library Board are joining forces to mitigate the noise issue caused the Library's barrel ceiling. The solution involves the use of a ‘cloud’ – not that mysterious computer server farm you’ve heard so much about, but an acoustical ceiling application that will help control and reduce the sound generated within the library building. This initiative is in direct response to comments retrieved from the Community Survey of library patrons executed in 2012.
