PO BOX 396Friends of Cornwall Public Library is a volunteer, non-profit organization that supports the goals and mission of Cornwall Public Library through fundraising and advocacy. The support of the Friends allows the Library to offer programs, services, and collection enhancements that would otherwise not be possible.
In addition to membership dues, the Friends fundraise through the Friends' Used Book Store accessible from within the library and from the Library's lobby.

The Friends gratefully accept donations of gently-used hardcover and paperback fiction and non-fiction books, children’s books, audio books, DVDs and CDs. Please bring donations to the library during open hours - do not leave them outside the building at any time. The Friends can only accept items in good-to-excellent condition, and regret that they CANNOT accept magazines, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books or textbooks. The Friends or the Library will provide donors with a receipt.
The Friends Bookstore provides the community with a great way to recycle and to support the Library.
Beyond the gently used books, audio books and movies they sell, the Friends also have an array of unique items suitable for gift giving. In the bookstore you will find four books on local history, two of which the Friends published: Cornwall, Images of the Past by Janet Dempsey, Colette Fulton and James O'Neill; and Cornwall Revisited by Janet Dempsey. The Friends have also published historic note cards, postcards and bookplates.
Membership in the Friends of Cornwall Public Library is $15.00 annually for an individual, and $25.00 annually for a family.
For information about joining the Friends, please stop in the Library or call the Library at (845) 534-8282.
