With the Bossa Nova sound having originated in Rio de Janiero, come learn more about how the city comes alive through the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim, particularly through the 1965 Grammy winning hit The Girl from Ipanema.
Presented by Rick Feingold, who has not only traveled extensively in Brazil, but has been in charge of programming the Latin Jazz Music Series for the Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State University. He currently teaches at Bergen Community College.
