Research finds that kids who grow up with WIC do better in school. Over 400,000 New Yorkers are getting healthy food and connecting to resources, nutritionists, breastfeeding support and more with WIC, but nearly twice as many can!

A 3-minute chat with NYS WIC’s new virtual chat assistant, “Wanda,” is all it takes for families to learn if they qualify. If deemed eligible, families receive an automatic referral to their local WIC office.
